Rury Eprilurahman on Finding Dogs in the Faculty of Biology and the Adoption of Rescued Cats
We shot several conversations with Rury, the most prominent being in front of the Animal House and a walk along the faculty buildings. This one is in front of the Kebun Biologi, the patch of woodland separating the faculty from the road, and concerns the dogs Rury has found around the faculty (unfortunately, we never got to film any, but we have encountered a few that were mainly on their way elsewhere), having the cats they rescue adopted, and Kucing UGM, the student-led organisation that cares for the cats around Universitas Gadjah Mada.
Most of what he says here is featured in The Cats of the Faculty of Biology, but something new you'll hear is how the dogs eat alongside (or after) the cats. I still wish that we could have given more focus to the dogs, but since we didn't shoot any, it was difficult to dwell too long on them.
