Close-up of Grass
Enjoy the moderate serenity of filming grass, with the distant sounds of traffic and people (Lelly and Rury) talking in the background. I shot a ton of B-roll for The Cats of the Faculty of Biology and a fair amount of it comprised sitting in a particular spot and filming what I saw, with variations in focus and zoom in case we'd need it later (always a good idea to shoot more than is needed than regret missing something later). Here, it was the grass beside the Animal House, which was used mostly incidentally but nevertheless helped to establish the mood of the documentary early on.
Speaking personally, I really like the first shot, but the focus pull continues to be a work in progress and something to improve.
