Looking Down at Jalan Teknika Selatan
It's fitting, in a way, that the first piece of footage released for our documentary, The Cats of the Faculty of Biology, is from its credits sequence. Early on in editing, we knew that we didn't want music with the credits, so we fell to something that would feature the sounds of traffic, one of the most significant threats to an animal's safety in urban environments. One candidate was the shot of Owiii sitting in the faculty building while watching the traffic (and world) go by, but these shots here were a much better fit. In fact, they were quite perfect for their purpose, showing traffic rolling past while providing an empty enough canvas for you to read the credits clearly.
