Yogyakarta Sunrise, Four
The last of the series of sunrises shot during my bout of out-of-sync circadian rhythms is the most lush. As the sun rises slowly over the palm trees, its light bleeds through their leaves. Birds' silhouettes fly around the trees, until gradually all we see is the white orb floating ever upwards.
Because of some dust on the sensor, this shot took a bit of extra work. Most of the fragments were cleaned out, with some other noise removed and the image slightly sharpened. The colour was also slightly improved, adding more depth (to my eyes). For anyone who wants this cleaned-up version, the resulting file is unfortunately 19 GB, being saved as ProRes 422 LT.
