Centre Frame of a Faculty of Geography Tree, Two

As noted in the accompanying shot, astute observers may recognise this shot from Lelly's Ecology Bootcamp, where it led into the main title card. These shots employed heavy centre and symmetrical framing, in concert with the rest of the film's attempted homage to Wes Anderson. To be honest, such homages are so common that they've become tropes in themselves, making a minor mockery of Anderson's idiosyncratic style. They replicate everything about it, and much more effectively than I did, but in the course of doing, I think they make their whole point about showing off rather than telling a story. In our imperfect replication, I believe we still let it be about using an interesting visual device to highlight the subjects of the film. It's a fun take but not all about copying a master.
